Hij was onlangs ook co-regisseur van de HBO-miniserie<em> The Sympathizer <\/em>met Robert Downey Jr. in de hoofdrol.<br><br><em>I Can&#8217;t Help It<\/em> is gebaseerd op de roman <em>The Ax<\/em> uit 1996 van Donald Westlake en volgt het verhaal van Man-soo die wordt ontslagen. In een wanhopige poging om zijn status terug te winnen, begint de man op zijn concurrenten te jagen en is hij van plan ze te vermoorden.<br><br>In de film spelen de Koreaanse acteurs Lee Byung-hun en Son Ye-jin de hoofdrollen en de film speelt zich af in Korea. De film heeft nog geen releasedatum. Buiten <em>The Sympathizer<\/em> en <em>Decision to Leave <\/em>wordt Park beschouwd als een van de grootste Zuid-Koreaanse filmmakers aller tijden.
