De cinema kiest bewust voor het originele 35mm-filmformaat waarin Yorgos Lanthimos en cameraman Robbie Ryan de film draaiden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Waarom 35mm?<\/strong><br>Met 35mm blijft Lumi\u00e8re Antwerpen inzetten op analoge filmprojectie, om films te tonen zoals ze bedoeld zijn door de makers. Eerder organiseerde de cinema al 35mm-presentaties van&nbsp;<em>Oppenheimer<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>The Brutalist<\/em>&nbsp;en&nbsp;<em>Nosferatu.<\/em>&nbsp;Het is de enige cinema in Belgi\u00eb die&nbsp;<em>Bugonia<\/em>&nbsp;op 35mm speelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cameraman Robbie Ryan, die ook verantwoordelijk was als DOP van&nbsp;<em>The Favourite<\/em>&nbsp;en&nbsp;<em>Poor Things<\/em>, koos opnieuw voor pellicule vanwege de specifieke kleurweergave en textuur. \u201cNothing renders skin better than film,\u201d wordt weleens gezegd. Het gebrek aan compressie, het brede beeld en de rijke korrel zorgen voor uitzonderlijk detail, diepte en een groot dynamisch bereik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Over&nbsp;<em>Bugonia<\/em><\/strong><br>Twee samenzwerende neven ontvoeren een machtige farmaceutische CEO, overtuigd dat zij een buitenaards wezen is dat de aarde wil vernietigen.
